Jude Ower to talk at Cass Entrepreneurs Network Christmas Angels pitching event


Jude Ower, the founder of social games platform Playmob, will be the keynote speaker at the CEN Christmas Angels pitching event and Christmas drinks on 2 December.

Ms. Ower has been developing educational games for over a decade. She is a BAFTA member and games judge, a member of TIGA, the games trade association, and the International Games Developers Association. She was voted One to Watch in 2015 at the Talent Unleashed Awards judged by Sir Richard Branson and leaders in tech; voted top 100 women in Tech in Europe; Growing Business ‘Young Gun’ 2012; she was shortlisted on Red’s Hot Women Awards 2012; and she was runner up for the Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2012.

Founded in 2011, Playmob is a platform that connects games with social causes It won UK Business Angels Association Social Impact Investment of the Year 2013; and leading SME at the Digital Leader 100 Awards 2014.

The CEN event will combine a competition where startups pitch to this year’s Christmas Angels Cass Entrepreneurship Fund, Mustard Seed, and Saatchinvest. That will be followed by Christmas networking drinks.
